Research Topics

For the attention of our applicants who choose topic and supervisor!

First, I would like to thank you for choosing the DSAIAM. It is important to know that the Enrollment Committee (EC) may call for interview only applicants who submitted research plan in compliance with the template and the plan includes supporting signature of the supervisor. EC can accept your planned research only if its topic is included in the research program of the DSAIAM. To make evaluation of your research plan possible it is advised to fill all points of the template with meaningful content. General and not meaningful research plan will rejected by the DSAIAM and the applicant who submitted it will not be invited for EC interview.

Any research topic is included in the research program of the DSAIAM by a supervisor who must prove own research results by PhD degree and latest recognized publications at the relevant scientific area. The research program of the DSAIAM consists of topic groups (see below). Topics in a topic group can be accessed using the link at below name of the group. Choose the available topic which best fit to your planned research and contact the supervisor. We apologize that certain topics will not available at the time of your application.

When none of the topics listed in the tables fit your research plan, you can see after new supervisor who can cooperate with you at a new research plan to include in research program of the DSAIAM. Although new topics and supervisors are welcomed, this case requires a special procedure to proceed. Send the research plan and the contact information of your prospective supervisor to the secretary of DSAIAM. Secretary of DSAIAM will contact the prospective supervisor and start the topic and supervisor cooptation process. Decision on the acceptance of the new topic and supervisor is at the Council of the DSAIAM. If accepted, applicant can submit the supervisor signatured research plan together with other required materials.

Finally, when you cannot find neither topic in the research program of the DSAIAM nor own supervisor for new topic, send your research plan and CV to the secretary of DSAIAM and ask to provide supervisor for you. Leadership of the DSAIAM will do the best to find supervisor if the research plan is acceptable.

We look forward to hearing from you and answer your possible questions!
